....the most fun I ever had as a coach. So many things happening and still i have a life on the side with normal work and more rest time than I have had in 7 years.
I will continue with boys 98 and their progress has been great so far and its much up to me to continue developing and in the last days I have found out which my other team will be for next season, but its not official yet, so I have to make you wait for that.
But to teams that have many things in common and the passion is there, so next season will be the most fun in 18 years and to be able to call that out already is just awesome :-)
Can hardly wait to get going witht he new team also :-)

Had a strange hot weekend
Well was supposed to work last saturday extra at my work, but that changed into giving the shift away and babysitting my sisters daughter in Sweden.
Hot like hell both in denmark and in sweden and whiel still in sweden this afternoon my phone rang and it was one of players on the phone: "I`m been bored all weekend can you come and train me in the gym?"
F**k second player from the team that has called me and asked this is for me on of the biggest things since I started coaching 18 years ago. "My answer I`m in Sweden, but cant you call someone on the team?"
I found out he did and they where up in a gym playing 3vs3 great stuff.
Tomorrow I will have the final young coaches academy for this season and the young coaches that will attend will have practical exercise with my boys.
15minutes in drilling them and I will give them feedback good and BAD and give them concrete ideas on what to do instead and so on, will be great fun. Just to bad that everyone cant attend, but thats just how it is.
Have started putting together the second Workout I have taped so far, but babysitting messed up my plan to be finished this weekend.
I call it "big"man series, so keep you eyes open.

Workout: Steve Nash Series
Have started to record some workouts I put together several years ago for my 98 boys, so they can practise wherever they will be this summer. There will be at least 6 more recorded and put up on the tube.
I call this one Steve Nash Series since it has a lot of hand eye coordination drills and he was/is a great passer and that has a lot to do with how coordinated eyes hands, feet are. So hope you like it, its not pro made and no retakes but made out of passion for the game.

One season has ended and another has begun
Well, summer is getting closer and closer here in Denmark and like the preacher I`m my players get to hear about summerpractice as much as possible. I have succeded in motivating them to practice extra during the season and in a few months I will know if I have done my job in motivating them to train like a possessed bballer this summer.
I have started to record more stuff in the practices for myself, my players and for everybody else that loves this beautiful game. Maybe it can help somebody, inspirere somebody how to do or not to do it, no matter what its there for all that have love for the game.
I have put up to short videos so far and here they are:
They haven`t been edited so you see good things and bad things and I added music so you dont have to listen to my voice screamning No, YES, athletic position and so on hehe :-)
I have a quest this summer and that is to record many, many drills and workouts with players and put them on the net. If I can fullfill my quest, well we will see in time.
Until then you have 2 videos here atleast.

Behind the back pass
Well, I´m a fan of showtime basketball, I grew up with Earvin "Magic" Johnson and showtime basketball at the forum like they always said. I have always liked players that do that little extra and as a coach does kind of players can give you lots of headaches but also so much more success if you can get them to use their showtime skills in the right time and in the right way.
Had two games with my kids boys98 this weekend and in a game which we won big there is one fastbreak that sticks to my mind. I have some players that I expect to do behind the back pass in some games, but this time is was a player that I never would have thought would do it.
It was a nice fastbreak, with 3 passes and 3 dribbles and finished off with a behind the back pass for the layup.
At the moment we have 3 focuses in the games and that is Rebounding, Fastbreak and Energy.
Starting with rebounding its so much easier to play this game and even the old goats in coaching are changing their styles of play to adept to a defense in 5-5 that has developed into a wall and new ways is coming. You have use the speed and quickness of the players that are so athletic.
Well we try to play that way and its starting to look good. Rebounding is still a weakness, but will be a weakness for only a short while more.
Fastbreak is not just that we are trying to run like like crazy, but with a purpose and filling the 3 lanes and getting the ball up the court quickly to see what the defense gives us. If there aint a easy one, 1vs1 opertunity, 2-1,3-2 we get into motion offense and move the ball. If their is no quick pass up the court the PG can dribble the ball to side, middle or diagonaly to the other side.
Hard part about playing this way is at ealy ages and old ages making the right choices.
Energy is the third big part, my kids are so focused in doing the things right that they sometimes forget energy. I`m tlaking about givining energy to others and also I as a coach want players to play with a smile on their lips, not like robots that are programmed to do a certain thing. If they reach the higher levels they have lots of time beeing robots :-)
In pratises we have some other things we focus on
- Defense on ball, off ball
- Moving without the ball, backcut, frontcut, getting open, handoffs.(of course passing)
- Shooting technic
- Cordination, phsyical training, quickness
The third one shooting I see as a very important thing to learn early, I know some coaches dont think this way and thats fine, but we can see the problems with many american players, star players that first learn how to shoot when the reach the NBA or with personal coaches in the summers.
Being able to shoot the ball, opens up the game so much more and makes it so much easier doing all the things you practise. If you are a good team, many teams will just back off and play 2-3 meters away from the ball and stack up the 3 second area. A little bit older teams will eventuelllay go to zone and stand there.
Everyody agress that 1 vs 1 skills is very important and with a shoot at a early stage the players can reallt play one on one and the teams that dont try to play "real" defense not zagging all the time will be punished time and time.
Somebody said the behind back is used to little and I agree, but we need to teach WHEN and HOW it should be used or else, we get a whole other game.
Many of the nice things that we see on the court we have very few players to be thankful for starting with it.
Two of them is my favourite Magic Johnson and Pistol Pete
Here is a video of the great Pistol Pete

Post All Star Weekend....
All Star weekend has passed and I managed to watch 3 different All Stars events during this weekend. I didn`t watch everything of course, but parts of NBA`s, Danish and Swedish All Star events.
Watching NBA`s all star event like kills the other All Star events in so many ways. But I still believe its very important to have those events for lots of reasons, but then you always can discuss how to do them and so on....
I have had one of those rare totallt free basketballweekends in the last 17 years, but yes like you read above a watched some on TV:e and internet.
Today its tuesday and I have practise with boys 98 whick always is the highlight of my week, the keep me smiling true a tough period in my life. Here is one example last weel was winterbreak here in Denmark and many was on skitrips and so on. When I came to practise last thursday I had no clue how many we where gonna be on the practise. There was 8 players out of 17 ready to practise, but the fun part that put a smile on a very tired coach was, when I was told that most of them had been in the gym since 13:00 and our practise started at 16:00.
When players at this early age already practise by themself, without any coach telling them to do it, you know you have something special. Then there is a will and not something forced by coaches to practise extra. Promising but to early to say what it will lead to, but there is a smile on my face every practise cause I know I´m captain of this ship and my job is so much more simple when the boats floats by itself.
Todays practise wil be a little special so I hope everybody show up. We will have visit by 2 of the best players from our leagueteam Hørsholm 79ers, which are currently on 4th position in the league. They will run some drills and talk with them.....a perfect restart after the winterbreak and little extra motivationboost for the players.

An All-Star saturday in Hørsholm
Well, guess I have to explain the lack of entries on the site, but its just simply because of me working a lot and the lack of energy to do it. I have tons to write about, but I need sleep and to relax also :-)
This saturday I went to the gym to watch the second practise of Point Guard Academy whick is a project started by Johan Enbom and its purpose is very simply. In countries like denmark, sweden there is no excuse not to have the best Point guards, that is something we always should be able to create. The lack of size is a fact and to produce bigmen or big women players, well thats more wish than something that can be done reguraly at least.
They will have 4 days per year where they will preach the game from a PG`s point of view and giving the players that attend a golden chance to take the next step.
Anne Thorius former great danish womens player is a big part of the PG academy and what can be better than to learn from a former players that knows what it takes. Whom has played at the top level and has skills to teach it and the CV to back up what she says.
I enjoyd what the where doing, but it looked like a shock for most of the players and it shouldn`t be like that. The foundamentals of the game, leadership, skills needed shouldn`t be news at these ages, but it looked like that from my point of view. Hope that the players take their new stuff with them.....
The players clinic even got visitors from Stockholm Sweden in Coach Øhrn and Coach Karlsson from Solna Vikings, they took the car down to Hørsholm to watched the two practises that PGA had this saturday, this is passion for the game and a hunger to learn new stuff.
After the PGA, it was time for the danish womens all star game between danish national team (coached by Johan Enbom) and the best of the rest. Danish and forein players combined to play under the coach Arnar Holm, normally SISU coach.
Like most All-Star games its not so exciting and well played but its a game that always should be there in every league. Of course you can work on how to play the game and work on that the players don that little extra in game. A normal game called Allø-Star game just doesn`t bring that feeling to me at least. Let me see some behind the back passes, no looks, alley hoop plays and in a mens game give me some of that funky nasty dunks.
The 3 point competition I enjoyed and the winner made the last shoot to win it.
This was my saturday in DK and it was a good day :-)

Danish player born 95 scored 73points
Well in a game some days ago Jonas Swame from Hørsholm Basketball boys 95 scored 73 points in a game. Something like 10-20 dunks and 3-4 missed dunks, he could have score at least 90 points with the missed dunks and freethrows.
His team won big, but 73points and he didn`t play the whole game is still a lot of points he managed to put up there. The played team ball also so it wasn`t that they just looked for him.
Go Jonas!

Smile coach, smile!
I had practise this hursday, friday like every week with my young ones and I tell you they are really into it now and the practises are really great.
Progress is so evident that you can nearly smell it in the gym and I caught myself just standing there at halfcourt smiling like a had won a million bucks.
They are in that age now around 12 where so much happens if you;
- Practise the foundamentals the right way (Especially body, cordination)
- Correct the little things that make the big things happen
- Keep them happy so they work harder, give the carrots
- Start demanding high focus in drills, technic
And what has happened after the last tournament that we played 2-5 januari is that more than half of the team (16 players) has started to practise by themselfs before, after and other practise free days to improve themself. That skyrockets their development of course and combined with the normal practises they improve so much they can recognize it themself and normal reaction to that is that you practise even more.
Some have more than doubled their hours because of that extra practise they do and thats one more for a old coach to smile about.
As a coach is sometimes hard to understand that WHAT you say even the shortest sentence ever can have so much impact on the kids. In that tournament in lund I had individual talks with the players and the day after we had a game again and one of the players was totally transformed. He was a new player I would say....
He came to my later on with a smile and said to me; "You that you said to me about believing in yourself and so on, thats why I played better this game"
He has continued after the tournament to be another player and all it took was one 5minute talk, well we all know it doesn`t come that easy in every case.
By the way I wrote some months ago about that the team will start shooting much better after new year and my prediction is spot on, its starting to rain now with the correct techniqe. Next step is the make it rain in games, so by march we should be in "hand down, man down"
mode.

I dissed 2 leaguegames today
Thats not something that happens or has happened a lot in my life, but had my sister and boyfriend and daughter here visiting me in denmark.
I was a fun visit but of course I got to check the results on the net:-)
Tonight I`m looking forward to watching my favourite collegeteam Duke play against Wake Forresty at 22:00 european time. Was some weeks ago I saw my last Duke game, but fun that Coach K has gone back to the old kind of Duke gamestyle.
Tommorrow first normal game witht he kids and that will be fun allthought the country is right now hammered with sickness and my team is no exception. Hade 9 of 16 players on last practise, one injured and 6 home sick.
Yesterday I was late to practise since I couldn`t get of work in time. I entered the gym and this gym has the entrance on the second floor and have glasswondows facing the gym, so I stood and watched forst for some time before I went down to the court.
I was proud...my 12 year old kids the weren`t jerking around, they had by themself started practise and when I came into the gym they were playing 3-3-3.
Have had many teams during the years, that it would have looked something like this:
- Lowered basket and dunking on 2,60 basket
- Throwing balls from halfcourt
- Sitting/standing and talking
- Using some other stuff in the gym like ropes, trampoline
And so on.....
These team/kids is the real thing and thats makes me so so happy since I have the chance to work with this group.

I`m not religous
But GOD has something against me :-)
Just something I thought about while using a whole roll of toilette paper to blow my nose the whole day.
Since I haven`t been out much the last week or so, I decided to take a little walk to a gym near by where I live to get my body som activity and also to check out the gym.
I was suppose to have practises there already in september, but a enormous rainy day smashed that and destroyd the floor in the gym, so this was actually the first time I have been in that gym.
Its a classic schoolgym where you wonder what the arcitechs thought with when they built it and let me tell you it wasn`t their head. Why build a big gym and put the walls 30cm`s from the basketball lines or for handball the wall becomes the line (but who cares).
Its otherwise a perfect gym I dont know about you, but when I walk into a gym a get a feeling of like or dislike directly and this was clearly a like.
When I coached up in Stockholm I had practises in one of the biggest gyms that I have had practises in. It was also a school gym and enormous, but already wlaking into the gym the first time a got that feeling this is not for me since it felt like they had hidden the gym in maze to get to it.
That feeling was correct it was the biggest but also the worst I ever have coached in since the accostics killed you as a coach. You could stand 3 meters away from a player screaming you loungs out and still he/she could`t hear you. The gym just swallowed whatever you tried to say loudly.....
So every time you had something to say you had to get the team together and talk with them, but that took some time to get them in a cirkel because of the accostics.
Why didn`t you use a whistle?
Well, I hate whistles as much as I hate snow. I think some like using whistles and they are called referees and I`m a basketballcoach :-)
Back to the gym again......I will enjoy having practises there it will be my paradise here in Hørsholm, there are bigger, more baskets in other gyms but this had that good feeling about.
Like the headlines says I`m not religous in other ways than I believe that everybody is their own GOD and there are lots of "judas" around :-)
But last night I watched Blake Griffin play with his Clippers and he must be close to a fictionary monster. He just outworks oppenents and hos body strength is out of this world. I would love to see him and our swedish superstar Jonas Jerebko play together in the NBA, that team would be one of the hardest to beat just because of the simple facts that they work harder than the rest.
Last nights game was his 23rd double double in a row......unless he gets injured and stops early in his NBA career I tell you Karl Malone is in trouble.
Thats some crazy records :-)

Now that sick!

New Year Basketball
In the beginning of the new year for me as a bball lover from the south of Sweden its been a tradition for years to play or coach in Lundaspelen, which is one of the biggest youth tournaments in the world.
Its been called the danish championships since so many danish teams participate and many of them also win the tournament. Now I´m a swede living and coaching in Denmark, so I guess I will for the first time play the danish champioships.
Well, I coach boys 98 and we have 18 players and will play this year with two even teams, so this year its more learning to play tournaments and having a good time. We where one of the lucky ones invited to play the nordic champioships in Sødertælje in easter and thats great since all games will be very giving in educational value.e
Lundaspelen is to me winter, cold and great atmosphere in the playoffs. Especially of course in the finals where every year its a great setup and arrangement to get that exciting feeling in your body.
This year will for sure be winter, cold and also great atmosphere in the playoffs.
I hope that my 2 teams play as well as they can and learn a lot by playing and watching others play. Myself I hope also to see some great games, where I can enjoy great coaching and great players.
You can check out the tournament here LUNDASPELEN 2-5 January every year
I also hope to see and talk to old friends/players and coaches during the tournament and for the first time in 4 years I will not work in Lundaspelen as I did when I coached in Eos. To be honest thats very nice to be just a coach and basketball lover again.
But to the people behind a tournament like this I have nothing but the deepest respect since, I know how much work it is to make it this big and all the organazing to get all parts to go as planned.
And to my old players working their ass of in Lundaspelen next year, what are you complaining about!
haha :-) Feels good to be able to say that :-)

Sometimes you give and sometimes you take
What?
I`m talking about energy this week I have been working alot and with a bad shoulder its not the most fun you could do, but necessery since money is needed there is no pardon.
Tires as hell I stopped work 17:30 today and had practise at 18:00 with boys 98 and if I didn`t have any energy before pactise THEY gave me energy and all of a sudden I wasn`t tired at all I was out there sweating and giving instructions and making them go harder in each drill.
Thats whats great about a team if you are out of energy the rest of the team can give it to you and there are always somebody with lots of energy and always giving. Normally I`m as a coach are always one of them, but sometimes since we coaches also are humans we need to get a energyboost frm somebody and today I got it from my team and it was 1½ hour of pure pleasure and we had a great practise once again.
Now home I´m so tired so I dont even know why a write this text, but I´m sqeezing the last energy out of my body and head to write this and I will soon find my bed and have nice dreams a hope.
By the way today I did something I have laughed so much at other for doing. I dropped my cellphone in the toilette...not good at all. :-)

Today I did some tests on my players
As some of you already know I coach a team boys born 1998 in Hørsholm Basketball in Denmark.
Today we did the first test for this season. Of course most of the are "happytests" since they are still growing and their bodies are devoloping in different speeds and so on, but the tests will act at this age more as a tool to motivate and "give" selfconfidence, because they will do better next time.
This is the first time ever I have done this with a young team like this, but to be honest this is the only team in this age that I have coached that have the mindset, so they can use this for their benefit.
First I checked "antro"
A)
- Height
- Wingspan
- Reach
Then physical tests
B)
- Jumping ability (best of two tries)
- 10 meters run from basketballposition (best of two tries)
- 20 meters run from basketballposition (best of two tries)
- Standing longjump (best of two tries)
- Pushups in one minute (chest touches fist of coach)
- Situps in one minute
(Hands on head, elbows touches knees, 90 degrees against the wall.)
And also som basketballtest
C)
- Freethrows - How many made of 25
(Shoots all 25 in a row)
- 2 pointers, 50 shoots (10 from each position) from side left, side right, bankshot left, bankshot right, freethrow line
(shot from pass, players shoots all 50 shoots in a row)
- 3 pointers, 25 shoots
(5 from each position), corner, corner, wing, wing and point (all shoots in a row)
- Layups in 30 seconds
(One player is standing at the freethrowline, one players with ball, dribbles scores right laup, dribbles out with left hand around his friend, scores lefthanded layup, dribbles out with right hand around his friend and so on for 30 seconds)
To be honest most players are not ready to shoot 3 pointers, but the will be in May, so it will be success then :-)

To dribble or not to dribble, that is the question!?
Well folks, I had a game tonight with my boys team born 98 and we played one of the best teams in denmark in SISU and I`m very happy to be able to say that the things we are working on in practise is getting better and better. It was a vene game where we came out as winners with 58-55 after trailing with 9 points in the last quarter. We finished really strong the last couple of minutes...
Whats "funny" is that we in the 3 period let SISU take a 10 point lead just because we were dribbling the ball so much and we became a one man dribbling show with 4 guys standing and watching. Thats som kind of NBA sickness that is well spred on every level. It doesn`t matter what level you play, when you overdribble the ball you will become very static and easy to defend.
What I`m very happy about is that we came back to playing basketball after that period and moved the ball very well and of course got easier scores and most of all better chances to score.
The strange thing with the dribble is that you see this happening on every level and why I call it NBA sickness is because there you can do it much more and still have success with since you are not allowed to play real helpdefense. You just have to wait out the help to leave the 3 second area and explode to the basket.
Today was a good day, not because we won (sure helps), but because we did so many right things in this game, so we can go back to practise and continue learning the game, the best game in the world.

That winning feeling
...well had a game today with my boys 98 and as "usual" we where gonna play a team with just 97 born players and if you ever coached this ages, you now how huge the pshysical differences are in just this age. Just one year is a huge difference.
We have had really good pratices last 2 weeks and ( Coach Enbom has written a blog about quality practises ) and I have added some pieces to their toolbox. Just before our game the mens team had practise and I think my kids impressed som of them since they stayed for awhile and watched.
We played really adult i offense moving the ball very well and attacking and shooting at the right times. Sometimes we drop a little in balltempo, but since we play without any screens at all, this is not so strange. I have nothing against screens, I love screens....but I want them to learn movement without the ball and spacing and more before we go to any screens in our offense.
Biggest problem in the game is that the other team zagg off our players and they are most of them much taller and we get "confused" in shootselections since we are open on every ballcatch. We had som bad shoots, but like I wrote before we played adult and smart.
Defense is extremelly hard since we are so much smaller, but today we played much tougher, but boxing out is a problem when there is 1 year, 20kg and 30cm height difference :-) But, they tried....
This was our first win against a 97 team and we had the shivers in the last minutes and they came closer and closer, but you have to get used to winning to be able to handle the "pressure" in the end off games.
We won today with 3points and believe me if we played like we did today and lost I would smile all the way home anyway. Now I got double joy since we played well and won also......can`t wait until next practise.

Chapter 4:
Dealing with players and parents as a new coach
This is a chapter that I propably could write on and on and on about, but I will try to get just some of the essentials into this text.
Dealing with parents
First of all starting out as a new coach there are many things that is hard in the beginning until you get a way of dealing with the certain situations. Some you make rules for, some you hand out info to parents and players, so no questions need to be asked later on. The problem is no matter how great you are at writting down rules, instructions and more, there will always be questions and inputs from players and parents.
This are the situations that are very hard as a new coach since, now its not a pen and a piece of papper but LIVE IRL in real life communication. Communication is the key, but is also normally something you get better at by experience and age.
When I started out I was lucky I had great parents in my first team and they where supporters and not assistent coaches. I mean with that they let me coach and them being supporters and transportation organizers and more.
If you are unlucky you get a lot of "assistent coaches" and of course they know everything since they played sports 10-15 years ago. Clubs need to help new coaches being organized to deal with parents its not always very easy. And its so important since all clubs in at least the nordic countries needs parents to be involved.
Normally the parents that have some sportsbackground maybe in the heat of moment dont understand, but when they calm down the realize it.
The hardest parents as I see to deal with as a new coach is the parents without any sports background and still they have 1000 opinions about most things you do with the team, all from practise, to games, playing time is normally a big factor for them........and for some reason moste of these non sport parents all seem to think a like. Everything should be fair, equal, but sport isn`t like that and I tell you after 33 years in life, life is not equal or fair but there is for some reasons thoughts of that utopia.
Well, to me sports are very "fair, equal", but you dont get it for free or easy, you will have to fight, sweat, cry, have pain, bleed, to do what you wanna do. This is something you have with you whenever in life and to me (us) that have great sport passion this is obvious, but you need to realize as a new coach, that the non sport parents dont see it as this. They haven`t lived it, so to them its a alien thing.....
One last thing about parents adn of course like I started with I could write page after page after page, but the last thing about parents is something that is a problem every year since I started coaching 17 years ago.
Parents priorities dont always go hand and hand with the players/kids
Well, this could go in either way....the parents want their kid to be great and basketball, but the kids doesn´t he just likes basketball.
But I will write from the point that the kid wants to be great. Parents need to sit down and talk with their kid about there basketball playing and how importants its for the kid. Just as coaches need individual talks parents need to talk to their kids. I have seen so many kids torn up because the parents just dont have any respect for their kids playing sports. They just plan totally egoistic there travelling or visits or shopping when their kids has a game or tournament.
Well, you might say they are the parents the decide and thats totally right. But a kid is just a kid one time and there are 365 days in a year. There are "babysitters", friends of family and so in, maybe he doesn´t need to go with the parents.
So this is something that needs to be communicated to the parents and thats not easy for a new coach I promise you that.
One tip!
For all new coaches or experienced coaches find the parent that 90% respects and listens too, every team has one. Try to get him/her as teamleader organizing the parents its great if this parents has sports background also, then he will get many questions from the other parents and answer them so you will not even hear the questions.
Today there is a "new" problem to deal with known as "curling parents". It aint new, but the % of a teams parents that are "curling" are so much higher more on that in another chapter.
Dealing with players
Handling players as new coach is just as hard as handling parents and maybe harder in way since you meet the players a lot more often.
I have always actually worked from a big point in my philosphy and that is dont LIE to the kids. I totally hate, when coaches sugercoat what they say or totally flat out just LIE, to avoid the conflict with the kid/parents.
But here is the thing as a new coach its very hard to get your point out without saying the wrong thing or not getting the players to understand what you mean and he/she takes it very very hard, since they didn` t really understood what you said.
Players will always gain more and be tougher athletes if you are honest with them and to me this is a big thing. I have during the years heard so many lies at every level of the game and to me thats just messed up.
HOW, do you look yourself int he mirror at night?
As soon as you can have short minitalks with the players and times when you have the possibility. It doesn`t have to be this superorganized indiviueal talks with charts, and more. Just, get talking with the players before, after practises during breaks in practises, during a drill take som time ask some questions and more. The tip here is use the time you have, its easy to be to ambitous and fail beacuse lack of time since work, school. Do it in the time you already have booked for that team and do it great instead of 50% of what it could have been.
Attitude problem players is something that needs to be adressed directly one way or the other this needs to change or there will problems for the whole team further on. Many hours may be spent to get that kid on the right track, remember bad attitude directed in the right direction will be fuel instead of shit in the system. Thats where you as a coach come in, to guide this "bad kid" they right way and as a new coach this is extremelly hard, especially since often the kids with bad attitude is one or the best player on the team. And if that problem isnt handled it can stop his/hers chances to become what he/she could have become.
If new and unexperienced coaches are put on team, the club needs to have somebody responsable to deal with these kinds of problems, if not well then you really dont care about the kids.
Well I will stop here and propably come back to this huge subject at a later stage.
Next chapter 5 will be about: Yearly plan and practise plans, what to do?
Chapter 1 - Becoming a basketballcoach "Empty book"
Chapter 2 - Becoming a basketballcoach "Doing wrong when doing right"
Chapter 3 - Becoming a basketballcoach "Will to win is to loud, the kids cant hear you"

Well maybe they dont have a mirror :-)
